These are meant to be initial concepts and rough drafts. I'm always open to feedback for modification. I am able to create improvements or implement suggestions as requested. Drafts will be cleaned and removal of any artifacts will be performed prior to production

T-Shirt Front Concepts

Inspired by the æternity.com website color palette, the official Æternity blockchain whitepaper, and the æternity github wiki.

The center focus of the front design is an original work symbolizing an oracle's crystal ball and the innovative predictive market capabilities that can be built on top of the æternity blockchain using oracle's. As mentioned above, the crystal ball like shape has features that resemble an pupil and iris that suggest the predictive capabilities of an oracle or a crystal ball. One of the designs has the æternity name with a vertical grey/pink gradient using the colors from the æternity.com website color palette. The arm's of these shirts are decorated with either the name æternity or a the currency symbol Æ. These designs have been created to associate immediate brand recognition. For some of the designs, simplicity is the goal. DRY is the idiom that great developers and designers strive for, which stands for "don't repeat yourself". For the designs with the æternity name placed on the arm, the name is visible from both the front and the back to meet the requirement of the contest for having the name on both sides.

T-Shirt Back Design Concepts

A great deal of thought went into creating the back of the shirt and includes "fictitious" or "idealistic" erlang pseudo code inspired by the promises of the æternity blockchain that were discovered from reading the github wiki, the æternity blockchain whitepaper, the Cuckoo Cycle whitepaper, and from my own personal experiences with firing up the æternity testnet and executing commands.

My goal was to include as many references to contributions by the æternity team in a few lines of "idealistic" erlang pseudo code. This pseudo code recognizes many teams members contributions and they are well understood and appreciated. Line 1 was inspired by the "mine:start()." command and represents starting "the oracle machine". Line 2 is an instantiation of an "idealistic" oracle that begins making a prediction. Line 3 symbolizes the outcome of line 2's prediction, that the æternity blockchain has the potential to revolutionize history by becoming a record of people's guesses to event outcome's, and for the case with æternity, that event is the launch of the æternity blockchain. This is a revolutionary system that has the promise to avoid manipulation of the facts as seen by a decentralized democratic system of people, truly disruptive technology. Line 4 is "idealistic" output inspired by the "go" output from the "mine:status()." command, and inspired from the "FOUND A BLOCK !" output that appears during mining. This line make's reference to the innovative Cuckoo cycle variant being used for the proof of work consensus mechanism and uses the term "GO" followed by an "!", suggesting that the æternity blockchain and oracle machine, which is poised to revolutionize history, has now been fully instantiated! This "fictitious" code was included as something special, that being the "idealistic" pseudo code representing the potential of this new disruptive blockchain. There are even more subtle details, the font used for the "Æ" symbol and the "æternity blockchain" reference are the same as the website (Roboto). Considering that Ubuntu is a recommended OS for running a testnet Node for the time being, the pseudo code font is using the default Ubuntu console font.

T-Shirt Side Design Concepts

The side includes the name æternity on some designs, and the currency symbol of æternity, Æ for æon, on another.

For the designs with the name æternity on the side, the intent is to keep the design minimal and simplistic. It is half visible from the front, and half visible from the back to keep the design DRY (don't repeat yourself).

æternity 3D Icon Concept - Eye of the Oracle Crystal Ball

These design are symbolic of a crystal ball and meant to be an app icon, or may also be used on exchanges or other digital domains as the symbol of the blockchain or currency. It may also be used for t-shirt designs, other clothing, and many other branding designs. The inner core of the crystal ball has a pupil/iris detailing and appears to emit a powerful energy, also symbolic of predictions. This icon is meant to have a more prominent iris/pupil detailing, symbolising the eye of an oracle, embedded within a crystal ball. There is also a Material Design version without the 3D overlay.

æternity Icon Concepts - Flat Oracle Crystal Ball and Flat Pupil/Iris Detail

These design are also symbolic of a crystal ball and may be appropriate for a flat app icon design concept, and still maintains details that suggest a pupil/iris detail.

æternity Icon Concept - Flat/Minimal Oracle Crystal Ball with Pupil Eye Burst

These design are also symbolic of a crystal ball and meant to be used for an even simpler app icon, while still including a detailed background under the logo that could also represent a pupil of an Oracle or a crystal ball.

æternity Material Design Logo (Optional)

This representation of the logo includes subtle details of highlights and tints to give perspective to make the logo pop off the page. Material design is a best practice for Android devices as opposed to flat design, which is usually associated with iOS. Of course, this is an optional detailing to take into consideration to fit in with the Android platform when including the logo in the launcher icon.
